Project Overview
When the founders of Blossom Business Farm first met Sostanza, they were two growers who had spent years perfecting their craft. They dreamed of building a world-class medical cannabis operation in Phuket but didn't know where to begin.
To show them what is possible when science meets design, Sostanza hosted the Blossom founders at Hollymood Farms (one of our flagship facilities near Bangkok). Inspired by that clean, high-performance workflow, they partnered with Sostanza in 2023 to design, build, and operationalize their own state-of-the-art, certified medical cannabis facility.

1. GACP & EU-GMP Ready Architectural Layouts
Sostanza structured the physical blueprint of the empty plot in Phuket. We created comprehensive layouts separating mother, vegetation, flower, and post-harvest spaces. Each zone was organized to secure optimal staff and material flow, strictly avoiding contamination hazards.
2. Conquering Tropical Climates with Smart HVAC
The Phuket climate features relentless tropical heat and humidity. Sostanza's engineering team worked directly with Blossom’s builders to review MEP plans, validate HVAC load calculations, refine air-mixing zones, and install Priva-controlled climate systems. This ensures perfect vapor pressure deficits (VPD) and constant dehumidification.
3. High-Performance Fertigation Engineering
Precision feeding is critical for premium medical cannabis. We engineered a customized automated fertigation loop mapped exactly to Blossom's crop cycles. This high-spec design was built in collaboration with local technology supplier Speedy Access (featuring a contract value of 1,880,853.50 THB), deploying advanced Netafim and Dosatron components to automate irrigation and plant feeding.
4. SOP Onboarding & Ongoing Mentorship
Once construction wrapped up, the Blossom team onboarded Sostanza’s customized Cultivation and Post-Harvest SOP Package. By combining structured remote data-analysis, weekly calls, and hands-on training, the operators successfully mastered crop steering, data logging, and GACP traceability protocols.

The Result
By 2025, Blossom Business Farm was fully operational on the Sostanza methodology. With a stable output of 60 kg per month of GACP-certified premium medical cannabis, Sostanza is now leveraging our global buyer and distributor networks to help them secure export pathways and strategic commercial collaborations.
